Job Description
- Present and sell products and services to customers while maintaining the highest standards of service quality and professionalism.
- Receive requests for the bank’s products, enter them into the system, and follow up on their processing and completion.
- Assist customers with opening accounts, collect the required documents, enter the information and signatures into the system, and obtain approval from the Operations Manager.
- Welcome customers when they enter the branch and provide the required service.
- Assist customers in completing forms when necessary.
- Guide customers in completing their transactions correctly and explain how to use available ATM services and other electronic banking channels.
- Direct customers to the appropriate employee when required.
- Respond promptly to customer issues and requests in accordance with established procedures and instructions, and follow up with the branch supervisor to resolve problems.
- Receive ATM card requests, enter them into the system, issue instant cards, and deliver renewed cards received through the administration to customers.
- Deliver checkbooks to customers and ensure they are securely stored when necessary.
- Process customer checkbook requests by entering the required information into the system, including the type and quantity requested, receive the checkbooks from the administration, and contact customers for collection.
- Receive customer data update requests.
- Receive account closure and account information amendment requests and forward them to the Operations Manager for processing in the system.
- Receive customers acting under a power of attorney, complete the authorization form, verify signatures, enter the information into the system, and obtain approval from the Operations Manager.
- Provide customers with immediate account statements and information about current accounts and previous transactions.
- Process customers’ standing orders, create and activate memberships, and forward them to the Operations Manager to complete the required procedures.
- Handle signature change requests and account activation requests.
- Prepare clearance requests.
- Receive customer complaints and issues and forward them to the Operations Manager for resolution.
- Work as part of one team to achieve branch targets related to sales, balances, service and waiting time, internal audit, risk, compliance and anti-money laundering, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Qualifications
Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
Experience
1–5 years of branch-related experience.
